The year disadvantaged list can be used to track the disadvantaged/ vulnerable students within the whole year group and monitor any interventions. Use SIMS to gather student information add in how your students are disadvantaged and add the number of groups up. Quiz that has lots of science elements to it

Hand out a graph per student as they enter the room (I keep anonymous unless they want to write their name on the back) Inform them what challenge is - a little out of their comfort zone get students to plot the points of their learning journey throughout the lesson This is a great way to reflect on your teaching - was their enough challenge. The results may surprise you.
